Art Rooijakkers responds to all the commotion about presenting Expeditie Robinson

I don't know about you, but I don't look at Dennis on Expeditie the same way now that I know this is his last season as a presenter.

Because he just belongs there, right? And the fact that his departure is probably not entirely voluntary makes it even harder. The name Art is already being mentioned everywhere. Dennis's successor would be Art Rooijakkers. He is already gone from Wie is de Mol? and so he seems to have time for a new hit. That seems to be certain. Well, Art finally responds to all the commotion. And he is not amused.

‘There is talk of all sorts of things. But it is not at all certain that I will be doing Expeditie Robinson. And to be completely honest, as it stands now… that I am brought in somewhere and thereby rob people of their jobs… then I am not interested at all.’

He has spoken with Dennis but he doesn't want to say much about it. He doesn't know the reason for Dennis's departure. But of course, it's not easy that his name is immediately linked to the program. ‘I notice that I get grumpy talking about this, so I don't want to talk about it anymore,’ he also says to RTL. So we will have to wait and see who Dennis's real successor will be.

Because it is not at all certain that it will be Art. And then there's the mix with Nicolette… She fits so well with Dennis. You can see that those two get along well. We are also so curious about what she thinks of everything. But anyway, Art or no Art, we are sure: we will miss Dennis. And if he really had to leave RTL, we think that is a very stupid decision.
