Carolien shares her secret

Monday was finally the day: I can finally share with you what I have been busy with behind the scenes for the past year. Together with my friend Evelyne, we are launching the new label Lemej for luxury nursing shawls. I understand that this product might not ring a bell right away and that it needs some explanation. During our breastfeeding period, we missed a stylish product that would allow us to create a calm and safe environment for the little one to feed anywhere at any time. We had a super handy nursing apron (doesn't sound particularly charming and it wasn't..) with a boning at the top, so you always keep contact with your baby while feeding. But in a beautiful stylish version, this was nowhere to be found. So we got to work ourselves, and now Lemej is a reality. The nursing shawls are made from a beautiful wool/silk mix and available in five cool prints, so you can fully match them to your own style and taste. You also get a small hydrofield cloth and a luxury storage bag in the same style. I'm super curious what you think of the end result.

The parenting has begun. The little man is starting to understand very well what is allowed and what is not, and he is of course playing this out to the fullest. He looks at me intently when he reaches for my phone and with a big grin, he then clutches his big trophy in his little hand, never to let it go. Or ‘the big candlestick game’, where he slowly picks up the candlestick, lifts it off the table, and starts waving it around, only to scream when I take one of the forbidden items away. I quickly need to reread my own piece about the different parenting methods: curious which one will work best.

Now I have been a fan of Bloomon for a while, a subscription for the most beautiful flower bouquets delivered to your home directly from the growers. But when I want to give a beautiful bouquet as a gift, I always end up on flower sites that are either very expensive or not quite to my taste. Fortunately, Bloomon has found the solution by now also offering a gift bouquet. I have already ordered the first bouquet and it took me effort not to put my own address on the shipping label.

May I take a moment to complain about the amount of laundry I have to tackle every week? I feel like that drum is spinning 24 hours a day and still the laundry basket is filled to the brim every day (I even had a nightmare about a bottomless laundry basket…). And I haven't even mentioned the endless folding of all the items, let alone ironing (which I also don't do, sorry in advance for the wrinkled outfits). I genuinely wonder how families with four kids manage this: running four machines at the same time? A laundry helper secretly living in your laundry room? All tips are welcome!
