 The new favorite of Maastricht

In the past few days, I settled down in the delightful south. The last time I visited my Maastricht was with the editors, so I thought it was time again. And where I normally scour my regular spots – I mention a glass of wine at my favorite, a coffee at that one corner, and a pasta dish at that good Italian – I felt it was time to discover some new hotspots. So I ended up with a rumbling stomach at the new hotspot in Wyck. At The Broth Bar (three cheers for this concept), they serve the tastiest steaming broths that are not only intensely delicious but also super good for your health. All products are completely gluten-free and made from only the best. They use no E-numbers or additives, avoid preservatives, and work as much as possible without GMOs and soy. The broths are made from products of fair origin, especially local products and from animals that have had a nice and natural life. Look, and I find that nice.

And besides those fresh broths, which the ladies behind the counter make fresh right in front of you, the drink menu is also hysterical. Here you don't just get a ’regular’ cup of coffee or a diet cola. Besides fresh juices, you have the choice of different types of filter, Bullet Proof, and chicory coffee, fresh homemade pumpkin lattes, and a humongous list of tea varieties. Last but not least, the atmosphere is so relaxed that you can easily spend a few hours there. I have found a new favorite, and I believe I will be stopping by more often to work on my laptop.
