Here's what you need to know about the second season of Sinner
When you drop a phone, glass sticker included, on the corner of a paving stone and your screen is splattered to a thousand pieces (under your sticker), you could do with some good news. Not to mention that I spent half an hour driving around the canal looking for a parking space and then got stuck in downtown Amsterdam for an hour and a half. Good news yes, I needed it. And I got it: Sinner is coming with a second season and we know what it's about.
SpoilerTV spoilers lustily. Detective Harry Ambrose is called back to his hometown near New York. There he must solve a disturbing case, the double murder of an 11-year-old boy. Ambrose discovers nothing strange about the boy, but he does discover about his hometown and that there are people who will do anything to keep things secret.
So Bill Pullman is already back, only Jessica Biel we can't quite place in the series yet.
Small confession: I've never seen a minute of The Sinner. So was I just treated to a: “You're really missing something” and “You should really do it, man”. But I have made a good habit of only binging when there is a second season of something. I said this was exceptional news, didn't I? Can I finally start. What a day, what a day.
Update update update update:
Netflix just, just, just released the trailer for season 2. The story promises to be just as blood-curdling as season one was. So in the trailer, you can go ahead and see for yourself what awaits you this time. Just a little more patience, by the way, because the season will be on Netflix on 9 November. Happy binging, Amayzers.
