The Coachella of the Netherlands
We are not even halfway through the first month of the new year and I have already written the first festival dates in the agenda. Not Lowlands, Pinkpop or Werchter, but something new. Something really fun. Camp Moonrise, An Extraordinary Boutique Weekender, in other words, a brand new three-day festival with the looks and feel of Coachella, but just on our own Veluwe. Small-scale, personal, plenty of space, no strict program, well-maintained facilities, comfort and last but not least only nice people. Because not everyone comes through the gates of Camp Moonrise.
A ‘magical mini-holiday’, that is the new festival Camp Moonrise, so describes the organization the brand new festival. No stinky portaloos without toilet paper, but nice toilets where you can go in without disinfectant. No clammy burgers or greasy hotdogs, but tasteful and good food, no cheap headaches but quality wine (we love that) and no hernia from flimsy mats but a really comfortable bed to sleep on. And all of that with your favorite artists in the background.
The festival is organized by the people behind Milkshake and Amsterdam Open Air, among others. So it should definitely be good. I can't wait. Will I see you the weekend of June 22?
