Spring run

Why is it that you can stock up on your favorite loafers, sky-high heels, or sneakers in one, two, three, or four different colors every season, but doing so in your sports wardrobe is somewhat on the crazy side? That's what I mean. The tropical temperatures of last week not only triggered a shopping urge for flowy summer dresses, bikinis, sunscreen, and flip-flops, but my pitch-black favorite running shoes also needed to be replaced with a sunnier variant. And my favorite Asics just happened to have released a lovely new running shoe. That had to go in my closet, you understand. These new delights have been named Sakura, based on the famous color splendor of the Japanese cherry blossom. The perfect shoe for your good spring resolutions, whether you're an avid runner or just keeping it to a walking date with your neighbor (walking is the new terrace, you know that).
