Greetings from Ibiza

Hello beautifuls. This is a blissful bird speaking. A bird with freckles, drinking a ginger juice on the balcony of her bright pink hotel (no joke) and tapping a little bit away. I was warned. Ibiza would be love at first sight. It is a magical place that you simply cannot not love. And yes, I am getting blushes from this island. Love at first sight.

Lil and I were in the mood for a week of recharging and suddenly the Ibiza plan was born. And that plan is freaking genius, I can tell you. A combination of hustle and calm. To completely de-stress, we booked the first three days an Airbnb in the north of the island. A super bright loft with steel doors, wood everywhere and with an interior so photoshoot-worthy that you immediately felt like you were in a home store. On top of a mountain (just look here). Nothing really happened, which was exactly what we needed.

The advantage of renting an Airbnb in the north of Ibiza is that you suddenly have a huge amount of privacy. Plus a great view. And a private pool, if you do it right. A hotel can't really compete. Thanks to superhost Selina. The only downside is the mosquitoes. They were having the time of their lives because they drained our legs every evening like an appetizer, main course, and dessert. We think it has something to do with our Indo blood.

After three days of non-stimulation and literally doing hardly anything (at least, if you call lying on a massage table doing nothing), we had found the zen mode. Then we were in the mood for some excitement again and so we just checked into the Paradiso Art Hotel. Yes, the bright pink hotel that I have mentioned here before. First impression? We feel like we're in Miami Vice. Smeg refrigerators, Marshall speakers, flamingos, pineapples; Everything. Is. Pink. A kind of girl’s dream. Pinch me. I wish I could pull you through my laptop to take a look at the pool. Or keep @lilianbrijl and @kikiduren an eye on Insta, you’re still a bit there.
