If your child refuses to put something on
Last weekend we were at Lemej the ‘We Are Pregnant’ event and it was a big party. It was a good thing I had to work, otherwise I would have shopped for hundreds of euros at other stands. It was fantastic to show Lemej live to our audience and the reactions were so positive. I sincerely hope that we can make a lot of women happy with our product, but from the sounds of it, it's going in the right direction.
More than ever, I feel the need to occasionally hide my phone for a day, not having to do anything and thus escape the daily hustle and bustle. At the end of a busy day, I often feel terrible because I mainly think about all the things I didn't succeed in (instead of the long list of things I did succeed in). Now I was tipped off about a course where you learn to turn those feelings and atmosphere into positive energy. That may sound a bit airy-fairy, but I am firmly convinced that you can have an influence on your own energy or that of those around you. I am curious about what it will bring me. Sunday, December 2 in De Salon, Laren (maximum 6 people, sign up via dessalonnidelstein.nl).
By now, I no longer dare to go outside without mittens and a hat in these temperatures, but sometimes I am surprised at how ‘cold’ some people walk around and I genuinely wonder if they won't be in bed with double pneumonia the following week. And especially when I look at the children, I see quite a few walking around without a coat, just in a T-shirt. Now I know from friends that their little ones also develop a will of their own at a certain age and simply refuse to wear something warm. Now I completely understand, to end the discussion, that you just take them out dressed in ice-cold clothes, hoping that they will think twice next time. Fortunately, Otis still lets everything happen obediently and only looks at me sheepishly when I wrap him up completely like a little Michelin man. He also still keeps this wonderfully warm and cute Donsje hat on his head. I will enjoy it for as long as it lasts.
For weeks I had been looking forward to this moment: the Moschino x H&M collab is out! I can count myself among the lucky bastards who got to shop in advance and believe me: it’s not any calmer than during the ‘regular’ opening. Everyone runs towards the racks and zips away four of the same items at once. Since I had just been hit by another cyclist, quickly downed a gin and tonic, and was quite pleased with the wonderful music from Kris Kross pumping through the speakers, I wasn't completely present. So before I knew it, all the racks were emptied and I stood somewhat lost in the shopping area. Fortunately, I got to wear a beautiful outfit from the collection for the event, so my ‘shopping hunger’ was already satisfied. I still have my eye on a lovely Mickey tracksuit, so I will still swing by H&M today.
