A warm piece of baguette with a fragrant cheese? Nothing, right? In any case, one of my favorite activities on the weekend. As the name suggests, everything at 7evendenhemel is heavenly. Let yourself be surprised and order the chef's snack platter. What can you expect? Velvet-soft Iberico ham, thinly sliced sirloin steak, and freshly baked pull-apart bread.

The Hague – Club Vers

At Club Vers, you might not get the most extensive snack menu in front of you, but what they have here is what you want. Namely halloumi fries. I REPEAT: HALLOUMI fries. And that is heaven. You want that. What am I saying? You need that in your life. Besides cheese fries, there are also edamame, beet balls, and empanadas on the menu. And a Dark&Stormy on the side. Thank you.

Maastricht – Petit Café Moriaan

As you know, Maastricht blood flows through my veins. Maastricht's Burgundian blood. And when I head south on the weekends, those days mainly consist of eating and drinking. With family. With friends. Around four o'clock, I prefer to end up in my favorite wine bar or in the smallest café in the Netherlands: Petit Café Moriaan. Where you can get a good glass of wine, a nice cocktail, or one of the thousand special beers. And of course, a good snack platter belongs with that. The guys at Moriaan know how to do it.
