Just together? Go on vacation after so many weeks
You are head over heels in love and because you are now spending a lot of time together, you think it is forever. That this is the one. That it is high time for a vacation together.
However, you might want to wait a bit if you just got together, with all that vacation fuss. According to researchers, it is not very smart to quickly plop down in a fresh relationship in the Bahamas. Almost thirty percent of people say they wait at least 4 to 8 months before going away for a night, weekend, or week together. Only 10 percent of people go on vacation together within the first month. Quite fast, indeed. But well, you do get to know each other on that beach bed. You immediately know if he can stay for a longer time.
However, there are also some hesitant types. At least 16 percent of people only want to go abroad if they have been together for a year or longer. Where are we going then? To the beach. At least 92 percent find a vacation to the coast the most romantic. Good, we can agree on that. A Corona at sunset, a bit of lounging in a bikini and rosy from the sun and the sea, exploring the bed in the hotel room together in the afternoon. That's how it goes, after a few months or after a year – it just depends on what you want. Would you rather book a city trip? Paris is, according to lovers, the most popular destination for a getaway.
Well, all that sweet talk: you would almost book six vacations in a row. Yet, it can also be a bit less rosy. At least 7 percent of people say they actually think about breaking up during vacation. You have time on your hands, you can think about your life, about what you want, about who you want to share everything with… Well. Then you might also discover that the cookie between you is indeed crumbled, no matter how white that beach is.
Oh, do it your own way. And if your partner suddenly keeps hanging out in that hotel bar every night, without you… Then you might as well pack your bags quickly again.
