Word wakker als het allemaal voorbij is
“No, no, no, this can't be happening?” That was our first reaction when the news came in about Avicii. Tim Bergling, the 28-year-old world-famous DJ from Sweden. ‘Wake me up when it’s all over,’ I hear someone say. Avicii was the number three DJ in the world for a few years and had hit after hit.
It was known that Tim was struggling. He himself indicated that he was suffering mentally and physically from his bizarrely busy career. In 2016, he also stopped performing due to health issues.
Now the documentary True Stories about his life is coming to Netflix, in which he shows how bad his health is, how he hates life in the spotlight, and why the dance world is not for him and he stops. “It’s really not about the music or the shows, but everything around it,” Avicii tells in the interviews he gives. The documentary ‘Avicii True Stories’ will be available on Netflix from March 31. The cause of death is still unknown, but famous DJs who knew Tim fear the worst.
