So many Dutch people are (or hope to be) having sex with a colleague
You couldn't really help it. It had been in the air for a while. Daily you revolve around each other and suddenly you were doubled over in the copy room. Seriously? Sounds almost like a scene in Suits, but it happens, people, it happens.
Out research about intimacy at work shows: almost one-fifth of all Dutch people have shared a bed with a colleague. And, if you haven't had sex, you dream about it. Is that weird? Mwah, not really, considering that many people spend more time with their colleagues than with anyone else.
It is striking that men (32 percent) have naughty dreams about their colleagues almost twice as often as women (18 percent). But where this decreases for men as they get older, women in the age category 40-49 actually tend to dream more excitingly about their colleagues.
Flowers and bees
Also in other areas, work and sex often intertwine. If we don't hop around like a couple of rabbits, we talk about it. For example, 23 percent says they talk extensively about the flowers and the bees at work. By the way, men are more involved in this with 29 percent than women (16 percent). The #MeToo discussion? Mwah, most men are not bothered by that. Only 5 percent of them say they have changed their behavior at work because of it.
Do we sometimes misuse our sexuality in the workplace? Yes, we do. Almost one in ten people honestly admits to flirting for a raise, extra client, or promotion (and I seriously think this percentage is secretly much higher). It is noteworthy that men indicate they do this more often than women.
A tip from my side: if you are going to flirt, do it mainly with words. We don't find sexy clothing in the workplace cool at all. Colleagues who dress too revealingly are taken less seriously. So leave that little cleavage at home.

P.S.: By the way, do you have a fling yourself? This way you have sex @ the office without the risk of getting caught.
