The advantages of always being a student with sixes
You haven't been so focused on always being the best in class. Not at all, you had other things on your mind.
Parties for example. Making friendships for life. Love finding. Facing hangovers. Being a C student has its advantages, because you focus on all sorts of other things besides your studies and that makes you a better person. A happier person. Look, you do study and you get that diploma, but you are more than that and you also like to spend your time on other things.
I myself have completed two studies (nerd, I know) and in the first program I was perfectly fine with a 5.5. I couldn't care less, the pub was waiting for me and the wine was always cold. In the second study, I was a bit older and wiser and yes, I was a real overachiever. I took those extra courses. Voluntarily (nerd, I know). I wanted to do everything well and found an 8 much more pleasant to come home to than a 7. But that suited my life more at that time, simply because I was a bit older. The pub was still there, but then I was sitting with a pounding head in a lecture at nine in the morning. I was there. Let's say I was both a C student and an A student.
But I am happy with both options. People who think a C is perfectly fine are often the most social people. Moreover, they don't have a bad CV, because they do a lot outside of their studies. And who ever asks about the grades you achieved in your studies when applying for a job? Exactly: no one. You enjoy life and that's where you stand strong. You are a positive person and that's what really matters when looking for a new job.
So, did you get that 5.6 for a test you studied hard for? No worries. You are actually a nice person.
