The summer drink of 2018
When it comes to cocktails, I'm a traditional dodo. I can secretly still enjoy a Cosmopolitan. In the back of my mind, still very much Sex and the City, but according to the latest cocktail trends, it's a bit eh, 2002. Then came the period of Gin Tonics. Suddenly, everyone was massively drinking gin adorned with thin slices of cucumber, sprigs of elderflower, or red pepper. Once I tasted my first Moscow Mule I was forever spoiled. And that while I don't even really like ginger. But now, now there's something new in our lives.
It all started during our totally Amayzine group trip to Greece. ‘Gin Mule’ was on the cocktail menu. Never heard of it. But hey, sounds like a combination of Gin Tonic with Moscow Mule so it must be delicious. So we ordered one. And another. And five more. Nine. The waiter didn't even need to ask anymore at one point. OLADIEJEEEEE, a new round for the whole place. I can tell you: if by the end of the evening you're half mimicking a peacock and the flea march is playing in the lobby (here's a word for you), then you know you're having a good time.
If you have something to celebrate soon. A birthday, barbecue, wedding, garden party with your girlfriends, invite Mister Gin Mule as the guest of honor and the party is complete. This is how you make it. You can thank me later.
