There is something special about Daisy, the perfume by Marc Jacobs. If you have one, you want them all. And of course, you want to keep them. The bottles are little works of art and make you so happy. For me, Daisy is the perfect gift. From young to old; you are immediately back on that sloping hill where you play ‘he loves me, he loves me not’ with a daisy. Or you string a necklace from the stems. Or you tuck them into the braid of your daughter that you just made. Daisy is summer. Bare feet in the grass. White dresses. A book that waits. A blanket that has just been spread out. A day without end. And without care.

All of that is captured in this scent. And in those wonderful bottles. To celebrate the tenth anniversary, Marc Jacobs sought something special. An uninhibited beauty. Pure like flower and perfume, but preferably also with a reference to the past, to give it an extra layer. And then there was Kaia. Kaia Gerber. The most beautiful girl in the country (and in my opinion also the sweetest; just look at her Instagram account and be moved like I am by the love for her family and puppies), but also the daughter of one of the greatest models of all time. Kaia Gerber is indeed the daughter of Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, also visually not much to criticize. Kaia is just a bit older than the perfume and received the best and most Instagram-worthy gift ever from Marc Jacobs for her fifteenth birthday: her name written in daisies in life size.

About the scent

It is one of Marc Jacobs' signature scents that was already a big hit. The fragrance has won numerous awards, including the prestigious FiFi Award from The Fragrance Foundation. I dare say it is the scent that scores the highest on the instant happy and cheerful factor.
