If you can wake me up for anything, it's for macarons. Okay, and for donuts. And red velvet cake. And chocolate chip cookies. And…. Okay, I have a top 20 of favorite sweets, but there's no arguing about my number one. Perhaps it has something to do with the macaron-eating scene featuring Blair Waldorf in Gossip Girl or my love for the city of Paris, but one thing is for sure: with these beauties on your tray, I’m your friend for life.
And of course, in Paris, there are countless shops that sell macarons. I mention Pierre Hermé, Ladurée, or La Maison du Chocolat. But in our own Amsterdam, we also have one that will make you lick your fingers. Where? At Maasstraat 77 or online is the Patisserie Tout where you need to be. Emphasis on ‘need’.
And that this is a seriously gooooooood macaron, I can prove to you on camera. I have already extensively tasted them for you. Seriously, I'm not that difficult. Curious about my first-bite reaction? At 0.44 minutes, I’m your girl.
