You never believe who you can binge Netflix with the best
Maybe you snuggle a little closer to your husband or wife when Netflix starts, or you watch all seasons of Gossip Girl with no one else but your best friend. Gilmore Girls. I get it. I have my binge-watching wishlist too. The person in question shouldn't take up too much space on the couch, because I already do. I love people with whom I don't have to pause the series when they go to the bathroom, but they do pause when I need to. And I completely veer left at spoilers. Tell. Me. Never. The. End.
Netflix has news, as they have researched the ideal binge companion. And the winner meets all my requirements. I have enough couch space, things don't need to be paused (or well, only if you don't need to help) and they don't do spoilers. It is, drumroll, the pet. We prefer to binge with the dog or cat, the research says. 58 percent of respondents prefer the pet over another binge partner. This is due to their high pet-ability, they can not secretly cheat and you can watch what you want to watch. There is a small danger, as 37 percent have sometimes shifted positions so that the pet had more space.
Binge watchers with a dog tune in to The Crown or Narcos, while cat people curl up with endless episodes of Black Mirror. But for all owners and pets, Stranger Things the number one.
