14x why you should watch Jane the Virgin

Do you know the story of the girl who became pregnant as a virgin? Let me introduce you to Jane Villanueva, better known as Jane the Virgin. The series has actually been on Netflix for a while, but the fourth season has just been added . Jane is your girl, and here are the reasons why:. Jane becomes pregnant as a virgin at 23, because she is accidentally inseminated in the hospital. I mean: Good Times, Bad Times has nothing on this, right?
1. Jane, her mother, and grandmother form the ultimate dream team, especially with some extra L to the OVE for Abuela.
2. Britney Spears and Gloria Estefan are also in the mix.
3. Her father Rogelio is too funny, making every episode filled with a hilarious dose of humor.
4. As awkward as Jane can be, you totally relate during a blunder here or there in real life.
5. Mateo (yes, Jane’s son). A little dragon who is stealing your heart with his overload of cuteness towards Jane.
6. You learn your first Spanish words at her abuela's (grandma's) on the couch.
7. Rafael Solano (Mateo's father). Or better said: his six-pack.
8. The romance. Jane and Michael are so incredibly perfect and cheesy, but secretly you enjoy it a lot.
9. Petra (Raf's ex), her twin sister, and criminal mother. I won't spoil it, but what happens in that family is bizarre with a capital B.
10. The voice-over. Sorry, but how funny can you be?.
11. Jane and her writing fantasy. Literally every character from her novel comes to life in her bedroom while she writes.
12. Seasons 1 through 4 are on Netflix, which totals a whopping 81 episodes. And the fifth season is on the way and number 6 is in the works.
13. Everything that happens in Jane the Virgin is over-the-top dramatic and a bit unbelievable here and there, but that’s just part of Telenovela, right?.
