22 little things that make extremely happy

Are we massively searching for great happiness like half-hippies in the deep jungles of Verweggistan, because finding happiness seems to be the burden of millennials, do you get such a happy feeling bubbling up from your belly from something very small and especially something very silly? Do you often feel that too? I do, and sometimes it’s in a raspberry.
1. What I already said: eating raspberries WITHOUT a seed ending up in your hollow molar.
2. Thinking you need to refuel, but then still having enough gasoline to drive to work and also back home. Blissful.
3. That you wash your favorite jeans too late in the evening and that they are already dry in the morning.
4. A fresh notebook. And then writing your name and phone number on the first page without making a writing mistake or stains.
5. Suddenly seeing that someone hasn’t paid your Tikkie yet (by the way, there are rules for). I can’t help it: having euros without knowing it still feels like being rich.
6. Finding a forgotten gift card from the Bijenkorf in the far cavity of your bag.
7. Just like that one ring you lost a hundred years ago in the Bermuda Triangle of your car. That’s the gap between your seat and the gear console. By the way, is this called a gear console? Googles: gear console.
8. Finding out that something like this is called a center console, but is also referred to as a gear console, so you’re kind of right.
9. A police car driving behind you for a really long time, and then after three streets and five traffic lights, it turns off instead of putting you in handcuffs and locking you up for life. For what, you don’t really know.
10. Your laptop accidentally being a hundred percent full when you start working and there’s no outlet in sight or you forgot your charger. Hallelujah.
11. That what you’re wearing fits exactly-exactly-exactly with the temperature of that day, so you don’t have to deal with on-and-off jacket situations.
12. An evening that feels extra long.
13. Hearing that mosquito in your bedroom but not being able to find it, applying anti-mosquito spray, and then it hasn’t bitten you in the morning.
14. Also nice: a wasp that pretends you’re not wearing overly sweet perfume or drinking something juicy and just flies past you.
15. Puppies. Or Monti who suddenly comes running into the editorial office.
16. Not having traffic on the N201 towards the A2 around eight in the morning. Anyone living there knows how rare that is.
17. That you order a glass of Chardonnay or a tuna melt sandwich (just mentioning something) and it’s even tastier than you hoped.
18. A cat that wants to cuddle with you.
19. Lounging on a Sunday morning and then starting the first episode with the whole season still ahead of you and it starts to rain. Perfection.
20. That people in the supermarket stay away from your cart or basket when you strategically place it somewhere where no one ever needs to be.
21. Cooking an egg so that the yolk is just a little soft but the white is firm. I can’t help it, I get happy from food.
22. Wearing those just too small pants without having skipped pizza and cake.
