Just in: poet Jules Deelder has passed away
Seventy-five was the famous and notorious Rotterdammer. To his own surprise, says the family of Jules Deelder. More Rotterdam than the poet, writer, and night mayor of the city could hardly be. Jules Deelder passed away today after a short illness. The family shares a short poem:

Rumbling at The Affair
Perhaps one of our favorite series on Netflix. We were hooked when Noah made such a mess with Allison, but behind the scenes it seems there is no peace and quiet either. If you're in the middle of the series: spoiler coming up. Ruth Wilson a.k.a. Alison Lockhart left quite abruptly after the fourth season and she did not want (read: was not allowed) to share why. A source now says this is likely due to all the nudity. Ruth did not feel comfortable being naked for the sake of being naked and made it a problem with the creator and producers of The Affair. Apparently, she was not heard and therefore packed her bags. And rightly so, Ruth.
Linda wipes away a tear for her dog
Now there was certainly a lot of sniffing and snuffling on the couch of Merel at Ladies Night, from laughter but also from sadness, but Linda really couldn't hold it together when she shared her own low point of 2019. She had her labrador Teddy put to sleep, who had been part of her family for more than 13 years. And suddenly the good guy was large on the screen behind her and then we understand that you can't keep it dry.
