WANT TO SEE: NEW MOVIE FIVE FEET APART STARRING COLE SPROUSE IN THE LEAD ROLE

Before we get started: mark your calendar for March 23. You'll be busy then. With what? Let us begin. That we are fans of Cole Sprouse we probably don't need to tell you anymore. That the man can do much more than just play Jughead Jones might be new to you. That this role has opened even more doors for him in Hollywood is clear. No more supporting roles for Cole, he has now landed his very first lead role and can officially be counted among the big players. A real A-lister. The film is called Five Feet Apart, which comes out on March 23 – hence the calendar block. The trailer looks promising, I bet we’ll need to bring a box of tissues to the cinema, because it looks like a real tearjerker. The story alone of.
this romantic drama . Cole plays Will, who meets Stella (Haley Lu Richardson) in the hospital. They both suffer from cystic fibrosis, which means they spend a lot of time in the hospital. You guessed it... They fall in love. However, due to their illness, it is impossible for them to be physically close to each other, let alone become truly physically intimate. In that sense, it is a forbidden love and the recipe for an emotional rollercoaster of a film.. The director, Justin Baldoni (who previously directed Jane The Virgin) came up with the idea when he was talking to a friend of his who has cystic fibrosis. He talked about his struggle to find love and how his illness holds him back. The core question of the film is according to him: 'Can love transcend physical intimacy in the most vulnerable time of your life?' I have a dark brown suspicion that this is not going to be a feel-good movie. I also fear a not-so-happy ending, because how can such a love really blossom? Anyway, my interest is piqued and I think that raising awareness of this disease is also a big plus of the film.
But wait, before you think this is really just a depressing movie – check out the trailer below. There are also many happy moments in it, and here and there some light-hearted jokes. It's nice too, so you’re not just ugly-crying in the cinema. Something with a laugh and a tear.
So March 23, just 30 more nights to sleep. In the meantime, I do have an extra movie tip for you. Haley Lu Richardson, Cole's love interest in this film, also has a role in the movie The Edge Of Seventeen. And that just happens to be on Netflix and is also a film you really want to see, starring Hailee Steinfeld. I won't say more about it: just watch it. Thank me later.
