Yeah bye. We obviously knew that all along, but luckily the editors of People have also opened their eyes. John Legend has been chosen as the Sexiest Man Alive. The hottest man of 2019. Can we also immediately nominate Chrissy? Sexiest Couple Alive? I'm in favor.
As we have come to expect from the Legend family, they immediately poke fun at the joyous fact. “The John of 1995 would be very perplexed to follow Idris Elba,” the singer writes with an old photo of himself wearing a not so sexy nerdy glasses. “But the John of 2019 is just as perplexed. Thank you People for finding me sexy. I’ll take it.”
John's kids and wife were not so impressed by their father's title, as seen in a video that Chrissy posted on Twitter. “Mom, I want to continue watching the movie now,” their daughter Luna replies to the question of what she thinks about dad being the sexiest man of the year. Sigh. Gotta love the Legends.
