Hold your horses: Lidl has Glühwein Popcorn

Take our favorite movie snack and dip it in an alcoholic drink with a winter character and voilà: we're off to Lidl in a hurry. Look, from a truffle burger in the McDrive we start to drool, just like from a milkshake with caramel and sea salt, but Lidl still wins on originality. I always wonder how they come up with such a flavor. Was someone from the supermarket's innovative department eating sweet popcorn with a glühwein and did the lady or gentleman in question think: what a combo, let's just throw that together in the machine? Or do they just check off all the options? Popcorn with marshmallows, medium. Popcorn with stroopwafels, better. Popcorn with glühwein, winner. Something like that? Oh, nitpicker, as long as it's tasty. Off to Lidl to taste.
