Horror fans, pay attention: Chambers is the Netflix series for you

Was The Haunting Of Hill House not scary enough for you? I can hardly imagine, but maybe you have nerves of steel? Hats off. I watched it myself for 50% because the other 50% was covered by my hands. Deadly scary, very thrilling, so I'm already ready for season 2 again. But here’s some news that will make your horror heart race: the series Chambers. Your sleepless nights can start from April 26, as it will be available on Netflix then.
What is it about? Mother Nancy Lefevre, played by famous actress Uma Thurman, and her husband Ben lost their daughter Becky at a young age. They have given her heart as a donor and it has gone to another girl: Sasha. I swear to you when I say this is also the plot of a Goosebumps book I read when I was younger. Chambers probably adds a little more on top of that, as the series is rated 16+ and I believe I was 8 during my Goosebumps phase. The expectations are high.
It seems like a nice deed, a donor heart, but it soon appears that Sasha has received more from Becky. It also turns out that Becky died under dubious circumstances. And so she wants to finish some unfinished business through Sasha's body. It doesn't take long before Sasha contacts Nancy and discovers that her daughter hasn't completely left for the afterlife. I think there's a good chance that this Becky isn't as much of a sweetheart as the innocent Beck we know from YOU, even though it hasn't gone well for her either. In fact, I wouldn't blame her for taking some good revenge. Let's learn a lesson from this: don't name your child Beck(y). It can only bring misfortune.
Besides the plot, not much has been revealed about this new series. No trailer, no spoilers, nothing. I usually don't mind that, but with thrilling series and movies, I can sometimes be a coward. Then those spoilers are welcome; I can pretend that I really don't find it scary because I already know what happens. My goal is once again to catch 50% of this. And of course, first carefree King's Night and King's Day celebrating, because on April 26 and 27, all of the Netherlands has no time for this. And for binge-watching all 10 episodes on the hungover day after Sunday (how relaxed is it that King's Day falls on the weekend, by the way?), we will. And then think about registering as a donor. There are surely people I want to scare later.
