Hot or not: the cycling shorts

I had to laugh a little when I saw the bike shorts for the first time walking around Kim Kardashian's hips. Of course, we still remember the shorts from back in the day during a gym class in elementary school, but as a fashion statement? Sure, definitely as a fashion piece. Getting used to it? That shouldn't even be an issue because it turns out: Lady Diana rocked the bike short back in the eighties and nineties like a true fashion pro.

Meanwhile, it's the big fashion brands that have linked their own print, material, or color to it for the upcoming season. Fendi, Roberto Cavalli, Acne, Jacquemus, and Off-White, they are all team bike. Sometimes in combination with a corset or oversized jacket and at other times with a puffer coat over the shoulder and high heels or an ugly dad duo on the feet: the bike shorts are on. And after admiring our favorite combinations from the fashion girls, you'll secretly understand (just like I do) why. After all, you have to learn on an old bike, right?
