Leontine Borsato makes a lovely statement about the Marco affair
The affair of Marco Borsato was quite big news in the countryside. I always find that kind of thing annoying, especially for their children.
You really don't want to read such things about your parents. You don't even want to know, let alone wait for all the neighbors, classmates, and friends to know it too. But Leontine and Marco are not letting themselves be knocked off course after all the commotion. Look, you can hide and half deny everything. Avoid the media for a while. You can set your Instagram to private and temporarily not post. But they are not doing that.
Leontine now posts a photo showing the symbol of infidelity. She is wearing a white blouse with a lipstick print on it. She winks and makes one thing very clear: she accepts it. Of course, she is not happy about it and doesn't justify anything, but every marriage has good and bad moments. It's up to you how you deal with it together.
Marco has previously said in Beau's broadcast that he receives very little criticism after all the fuss. ‘I noticed that of the – in my opinion – 3,500 reactions I received, 99 percent agreed with us,’ said the singer about the reactions. ‘Not that they approve of what I did, but they acknowledged that it is a matter between us and not the public.’
Marco's current hit, Lippenstift, is about infidelity. The song features lyrics like ‘And ask yourself the question. Aren't you worth much more than the lipstick on his collar?’ I don't know, but it all comes across very strongly. And that's a lot better than hiding. Go team Borsato, I'm rooting for you. Don't let them drive you crazy.
