This movie with Scarlett Johansson on Netflix is one you want to see

Streaming services are no longer just for bad romcoms (although they still produce those regularly ), and I already said that it won't be long before the first Netflix moviewins an Oscar . Well, I believe the elite of Oscar winners and nominees are starting to realize that too, because the cast of the new film Marriage Story is quite impressive. Starting with the director: Noah Baumbach (Frances Ha). Unfortunately did not win an Oscar, but was nominated.. But then the cast. In the lead roles.

and Adam Driver. Personally, I think Scarlett Johansson definitely deserves an Oscar by now, or at least a nomination. And that chance is quite there with this film. Marriage Story already premiered at the Venice Film Festival and was received quite well. So well that there is already speculation about possible Oscar nominations. We (the ordinary plebs) haven't seen the film yet, but the expectations are already quite high. Scarlett Johansson It's nice that the trailer has just been dropped, because then we can create a bit of an image. First impression? Enthusiastic. I do think it will be a tearjerker here and there, but that's perfectly fine of course. Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver play a married couple who decide to divorce. Divorcing is never nice, but because they are both genuinely nice people in the film, it's almost impossible to choose a side. That's a lot easier when that one nice guy finally gets rid of his gold-digging wife. No, the trailer makes it clear that in this situation there are only losers.
