New movie with Jennifer Aniston coming soon to Netflix

A-list stars in Netflix series or movies, we don't even bat an eye at it anymore. But now they have managed to snag a really big name, and also one of my all-time favorites, so I'm absolutely thrilled. This summer, on June 14 to be exact, Murder Mystery will be released with one of Hollywood's sweethearts in the lead role. Yes, it can only be of course Jennifer Aniston. Her co-star is Adam Sandler, also a well-known name in Hollywood.

Before I tell you what Murder Mystery is about, I want to quickly touch on Adam Sandler's career plan. He has the ideal job (and makes a ton of money doing it). He has admitted multiple times in interviews that he selects his acting roles based on the countries where they are filmed, where he would like to vacation, and also with whom. Now that Jen and he have been friends for years, this is just a case of paid work vacation 2.0. If you check out his films, this strategy works out quite well. He has made several films in Hawaii (including Just Go With It, also with Jen), South Africa, Mexico and for Murder Mystery on a luxury yacht. That's something I also might incorporate into my ten-year plan.

Okay, back to the movie. Sandler plays police officer Nick, who, along with his wife Audrey, is invited on a luxury yacht of a multimillionaire. Sounds good, but as the title quite clearly suggests, they stumble upon a murder (very inconvenient that the multimillionaire is the one who kicks the bucket), of which they suddenly become the prime suspects. And so they have to prove that they indeed did nothing – and find out who the real murderers are. Meanwhile, the yacht sails through the seas of Europe, so expect many beautiful snapshots here.

Last week it was also announced that Netflix can indeed compete for the Oscars. Now I don't see this film winning (but you never know, of course, since Suicide Squad won one, I don't find anything too crazy anymore), but it will definitely be a nice watch. A film with Jennifer Aniston immediately goes on my watchlist, and those comedies still do just fine after all these years, I must say. I found We're The Millers a recommendation. By the way, she plays a stripper in this one, and I didn't immediately think of that role with her rather innocent image. But pff, if I can still look like that at that age, I would also hang around a pole, you know.
