Noah Centineo is The Perfect Date on Netflix

I mentioned it recently: Noah Centineo is hot. So I don't need to tell you that anymore, it seems. I also mentioned back then that he was the ideal boyfriend in the Netflix hit To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before It seems like Netflix has read my mind or that Netflix and I are just on the same wavelength (I think it's the latter), because on April 12, his new movie The Perfect Date will be released. On Netflix again, of course. You can probably guess who plays the lead role, but you might not know that his co-star Camila Mendes is. Better known as Veronica Lodge from Riverdale.
In The Perfect Date, Mr. Centineo has a very unique side job: women can hire him to play their date. A sort of male version of the escort, then. In fact, he has developed a complete app for this in the film. Oh god, we won't actually get that in real life after this movie, will we? The premium version of Tinder is already so expensive, let alone having to pay your date an hourly wage… Anyway, I'm getting sidetracked. Although I would immediately pay that money for a date with a guy like him. Perhaps there's still a gap in the market.
Camila Mendes hires him for a night out and the rest of the story remains a bit of a mystery – only a handful of photos have been released, after all. If I had to guess how it goes? Very unexpectedly, the two main characters fall in love. No one sees that coming, of course. Important detail that I mustn't forget to mention: Noah wears a suit multiple times in this film. Can you picture it? Yes, me too. April 12, almost almost almost.
If I were to play the main character, it would also be a reasonable short movie. Send me on one date with Noah and I've already mapped out our wedding. I have a strong suspicion that things will go differently in The Perfect Date. Camila Mendes plays a very Veronica-like rich girl who gets bored of the wealthy people around her and therefore decides to try out this app. If for some bizarre reason this is not your cup of tea, you can also wait for part 2 of To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before to come out. They are currently filming that as we speak. And it will be just in time for Christmas, on December 19.
By the way, enjoy this extra, because apparently Noah is now completely done playing the ideal boyfriend. I was a bit shocked, because that's exactly the role I love to see him in. But well, nothing to be done about it. But then news came out that made me quite happy. He is in talks to play He-Man. If this is his switch from ideal boyfriend to superhero, then you won't hear me complain. Very good choice.
