On this date, the next Dutch Netflix Original will be released online

Ares, the psychological horror (!)-thriller about a secret student society in Amsterdam is the new Dutch pride on Netflix. And just now the date on which we can expect the eight-part series has been announced: it will be Friday, January 17, 2020. Look, if that isn't a happy new year.

Dark demons

The teaser already promises breath-taking scenes. What is also nice is that Netflix does not continue with the unpolished Ferry and his companions from Undercover, but takes a completely different path. Ares turns out to have quite a dark side besides a student society in Amsterdam. Best friends Rosa and Jacob discover quite a few demons from the past in the rich and powerful world of Ares. And is it really worth being part of the elite?

Handsome cast

In the series, Jade Olieberg (as Rosa) and Tobias Kersloot (as Jacob) appear, but also Golden Calf winner Rifka Lodeizen, Lisa Smit, Robin Boissevain, Frieda Barnhard, and Hans Kesting are part of the cast. The setting of the psychological thriller is of course Amsterdam. Netflix released the teaser this morning, so we can look forward to it even more. I'm putting it in my calendar, are you?
