Reminder: Riverdale returns on Thursday and this is the very last trailer

Qualitatively perhaps not the very best series, but I have been faithfully watching for three seasons. No matter how unbelievable it gets, how many plot lines come and then are not explained, it remains addictive. Archie's hair seems to get more orange each season and I don't think there is a girl left in Riverdale that he hasn't scored with. Because yes, I'm of course talking about Riverdale. Just a flashback: can we still remember that in season 1 they actually just went to school? That it was a drama that Betty and Veronica (especially the latter) were not initially allowed into Cheryl's cheerleading squad? Yes, exactly… What happened Riverdale? Well, let me tell you.

Riverdale is back, and how. And just a big reminder: this Thursday they are back. So don't forget. Forgetting is also difficult since they released a last-minute trailer that – to be honest – is promising. It's nice to see Jughead again in the flesh, because it is still questionable whether he has actually kicked the bucket or not. In the previous trailer, the gang is missing him, he is covered in blood and is quite stressed (I would be too in that situation). My guess is that the writers would be crazy to write Jughead out of the series, so let's just assume for convenience that he is back. Great, let's move on.

In the latest trailer, we see that our Fantastic Four is planning a camping trip (which is not exactly Veronica's favorite hobby), when Archie suddenly gets a phone call. Right: the phone call. That one you knew was coming. Fred is no more, and we get that right in the first episode. Grab some tissues, because the funeral follows quickly. Betty is playing detective (to figure out Charles and his intentions), Jughead is moving, Cheryl's one-eyed grandma is back and Cheryl is still craycray. Just how we like her.

Oh yes, entirely in Riverdale style, Archie is already seen shirtless in the trailer (as in every episode of Riverdale to date), but this time the other characters are joining in. Jughead: check, Hiram: check, and FP is almost going down, but he is still in uniform for now. Oh Riverdale, I’ve missed you. I'm ready for Thursday.
