Lynn's 12 addresses in Melbourne

Last year in March, I walked through a steaming Melbourne. For seven years in a row, Melbs has been ‘The Most Liveable City on Earth’, so you won't get bored there, impossible. Still, I will share my own tips and (roof)tops with you. This way you know exactly at which rooftop you celebrate a sunny ‘Friday-arvo’ (afternoon) and where you hang out at the bar. These are the spots in Melbourne that you must not miss:
1. Degraves Street is the loveliest little street in Melbourne. There you drink creamy cappuccinos and park yourself under a parasol for hours. What is also a nice bonus there on Degraves Street: no cars drive by. An oasis of calm in the middle of the metropolis.
2. In The Royal Botanical Garden, you definitely want to have never-ending picnics, but you should also make sure to peek into the park during the Moonlight Cinema. A bottle of white, a soft blanket, and an Ozzy pie. Awesome.

3. Fitzroy, please go to Fitzroy. That neighborhood is edgy, artsy, but also so cozy.
4. By the way, if you are in Fitzroy, run up the stairs at Naked Satan. One of the coolest rooftops in the city.
5. I will elaborate a bit more on the rooftop bars because there are plenty in Melbourne. For example, Reunion Club Pool. Pool, indeed. Please bring your swimsuit because there will be a splashing moment, mark my words.

6. The National Gallery of Victoria is the oldest art museum in Australia. A fun fact is that they have a stained glass ceiling, the largest in the world.
7. Peaches is also in the rooftop top three. Not normal how fun it is, and if it starts drizzling, it's totally okay to sit inside at Peaches. That interior is mega-goals.

8. I zoom out of the center of Melbourne and take you to St. Kilda. For the beaches, you should go to Sydney but if you want to touch the coastline in Melbourne, you do that at St. Kilda beach. On the boulevard, you find Republic & Captain Baxter. You can enjoy a lovely sunset there.
9. Melbourne has quite a skyline, and you prefer to view it from St. Kilda. And if you look closely, you can see penguins waddling around. PENGUINS. Happy feet in Australia. Best of both worlds.
10. Arbory Afloat, write it down, write it down. By the water, and restaurants there quickly become popular, but Arbory Afloat is next level. You have to queue there.

11. Take a wicker basket with you and go to the Victoria Market on Wednesday evening. Live music, a snack here, a drink there, and illuminated stalls where you score yet another boomerang for the folks back home.
12. For colorful beach houses, you should spend a day at Brighton Beach. Factor 50 and a little parasol, you will need those there. And you have rainbow beach houses.

Have fun, mate.
