The Meiland family has started vlogging and you want to see it

So I have a very good friend and she has never seen Chateau Meiland. That can happen, but yes, you do miss something in your life.

She is otherwise very nice and normal, but she doesn't know Martien. And I am crazy about Martien, so I reenacted a few scenes from this delightful show especially for her. Or well, I mainly tried to imitate Martien, of course. After a few too many wines, it went quite well. How he reacts when a tree has fallen over in a storm, for example, or when a two-meter-high golden vase is bought that turns out to be silver after all. Or when a wall needs to be wallpapered in the new bedroom. It all seems so ordinary, but when Martien says it, it's hilariously funny.

I am so happy that the Meiland family is now starting with a vlog. This way I can see more of them and not just once a week on Monday evenings.

The first vlog that Maxime records is online and, as with everything the family does, it is a real hit. The video is about the lead-up to winning the Ring and where their outfits come from. And about Martien and Maxime having a bit of a sore throat and being afraid they might have to run to the bathroom in the AFAS Theater. And whether Martien is looking forward to the big gala? ‘No,’ he says very honestly.
