The trailer for El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie is out and we can't wait any longer

Images from the Netflix series Breaking Bad

Bold statement, but go ahead and challenge me: Breaking Bad was the best series of all time. Five seasons of enjoyment and no dips at all. Well, that's really a unique thing. Even Friends (a very different genre) had a season or two that were a bit less enjoyable to watch. In the category of binge-watching, I find Breaking Bad a bit less so, but holy shit, I was so impressed when I saw it for the first time.

So yes, as far as I'm concerned, this series beats Game of Thrones and The Handmaid's Tale. Although it's a close call with the latter, who knows, maybe when we hit the five seasons in Gilead, I'll reconsider. Anyway, it all comes down to one thing: Breaking Bad is awesome. And it was stupid that it ended, but also good in a way, because stopping at your peak, you know? The announcement of a movie was very welcome, and now that there is finally a full trailer for that movie out, it's the best.

And that trailer is – fortunately – also really nice. It starts moments after the very last episode of Breaking Bad has taken place (so immediately a good excuse to check that out again). This means we are face to face with Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), and he has really gotten himself into a mess. On the run from the police and mostly hiding in his car, called El Camino. Things are not going well for Jesse, which is emphasized with appropriate dramatic music.

No text in the trailer, only at the end when Jesse is asked ‘You ready?’ Answer: ‘Yeah.’ HELL YEAH. We are ready too. Until October 11.
