The trailer for A Christmas Prince 3: A Royal Baby is here

Sweet, sweeter, sweetest. Or the three parts of A Christmas Prince. The royals of Aldovia are back this Christmas. Part one was received medium in terms of story, originality, and sweetness, but it was indeed the guilty pleasure of the year. The same was true for part two and part three… Well, why change a winning team? The trailer is out now and it’s just enjoyable again.

Amber and Richard are still so happy together and are even expecting a baby. Richard is the ideal man and probably also the ideal dad. Such a man who ties Amber's shoelace by himself because she can't reach it anymore due to her belly. Such a man who understands that Amber wants their child to have a normal upbringing instead of a very royal one. Actually, nothing stands in the way of their baby happiness, but then the movie would be very boring.

So that's why their Christmas is in danger for a moment. Richard and Amber want to welcome delegates in Aldovia and take the opportunity to renew an ancient truce. But then – OH NO – this treaty turns out to be missing and peace is in danger. Something in me says this will turn out fine, you know. Additionally, the family is also hit by an old curse.

Here's the thing: in an almighty book, it states that if the treaty is broken, a curse will rest on the firstborn child. That of Richard and Amber, then. Well, you can say what you want, but as a heavily pregnant woman, you’re not exactly waiting for a curse that suddenly rests on your unborn child. So, on the investigation path. Oh, and for some extra suspense: this treaty must be signed before Christmas Eve, otherwise the curse will start.

I’m just glad that in the Netherlands we don’t have a time limit for such treaties that we get from an almighty book. But a nice romcom does well with it. Anyway, the whole story of part three doesn’t really matter, does it? We’re all going to watch anyway. Sweetness at its peak, I love it. By the way, this Christmas movie is a Sinterklaas gift: we can see it on December 5th.
