Due to the passing of Luke Perry we crawled back in time here at the editorial office. The time of Dylan McKay and Brenda Walsh. Indeed, that is way, wáy back. Butterflies bubble up like bubbles in a champagne flute as we think of our favorite couple from 90201. And there are so many more other dream couples we fell head over heels for. Fifteen in total. Enjoy this trip down memory lane.
Rachel and Mike
We still shed a tear every day over the fact that Suits is definitively over. Bye Rachel, bye Mike, you were the absolute best and we were mega in love with you.
Carrie and Mister Big
Yes, we have to mention these two, no doubt about it. When you think of Sex and the City, you see that petite body of Carrie and Mister Big (that name speaks for itself) in front of you.
Elena and Damon
This started as a hundred percent couple goals, because Elena and Damon from The Vampire Diaries had a relationship in the series, but also fell madly in love in real life. Their romance ended a bit less top, because a child and three years of dating later, the two broke up again.
Schmidt and Cece
By far our favorite couple from New Girl.
Jughead and Betty
These are pearls of storylines: being in love in the series and then also having a real-life relationship. That happened with Lili Reinhart and Cole Sprouse from Riverdale. Mega goals, this.
Grace and Frankie
Best heart friends also counts for now as couple goals, because my oh my, Grace and Frankie, we never want to be without them.
Hanna and Caleb
Haleb, that's what we called our favorite couple from Pretty Little Liars. They even had a love baby in the series. Aww.
Cheryl and Martin Morero
Yes, yes, those two definitely belong on this list. True love, unbreakable.
Jon Snow and Daenerys Targaryen
These lovebirds still need to hatch, but we are dreaming very much of a romance between the two.
Phil and Claire
Funniest couple in this universe. We LOVE Modern Family and therefore love Phil and Claire down to our little toe. Those two are hi-larious.
Blair and Chuck
We are actually still not entirely sure about the couple goals level of this pair. Anyway, whoever says Gossip Girl, calls Blair and Chuck.
Seth and Summer
Our favorite couple from The O.C. By the way, I had never heard of that series, but hey, what else is new? If The O.C. doesn't sound familiar to you either, take note. Must watch.
Rory and Jess
Okay, there was a little discussion going on here at the editorial office, because who were the ultimate couple goals in Gilmore Girls? Rory and Jess or Rory and Logan? As democratic as we are, the majority wins and we chose Rory and Jess as our faves.
Monica and Chandler
Rachel, Monica, Ross, Chandler, Joey, Phoebe from Friends, those are of course just life goals. But if we have to pick a favorite couple from them, we absolutely find Monica and Chandler the best.
