I remember my first bottle of Chloé so well. I was pregnant with my first daughter and wanted everything to breathe fresh and clean. The Chloé perfume fit perfectly with that. The glass bottle, the ribbon, the silver cap that I could polish up nicely in all my cleaning frenzy, and of course the scent itself, which is composed of honey, rose, peony, lychee, freesia, and amber, and smells like a freshly ironed linen duvet cover.
Meanwhile, Chloé, just like me, has had many descendants who are all equally popular. Chloé L’EAU is the youngest of the fragrance family and, as the name suggests, is just a bit lighter and less present than her big sisters. But fresh, elegant, refined, clean, and with its own signature, it still is. And the favorite of everyone who meets her, that too. And that is exactly how the youngest family member should be.
