Thank me later, but I have the ideal excuse to schedule a movie night tonight. One that every woman should see: On The Basis of Sex. Felicity Jones plays the role of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, one of the first women admitted to the law program at Harvard in the 1950s. She struggles with inequality, overcomes it in many ways, but ultimately no law firm is willing to hire her as a lawyer. Ruth focuses on educating men and women about gender inequality. Until she gets a chance to turn the tables and show, together with her husband, how outrageous the inequality is. What I said: the excuse to have a cozy night in tonight. The film also features Kathy Bates, Armie Hammer, Justin Theroux, and Sam Waterston (!) as well. So not small names.
