You also want this warm fluffy hot water bottle

If there is one thing that Jon and I absolutely hate, it’s things in the house that don’t function properly. If they are items that fit in the trash, they usually disappear here pretty quickly. But something like underfloor heating is a bit tricky to throw away… After waking up the past few days with icicles on my nose (okay, maybe a bit exaggerated, but it’s REALLY freaking cold in the bedroom), I was done: my search for a beautiful, fashionable hot water bottle had begun. Luckily, I didn’t have to look far, because as if my prayers were answered, this beautiful ‘furry’ hot water bottle was in the mail from the new ‘Timeless Fall’ collection by Westwing. Tonight, it will be a fight with Jon over this new acquisition.

Every time I see cool nail art on Instagram, it’s almost always from Jessica Scholten. Together with Saar Koningsberger, she started Lakwerk, where you can have the coolest nail art created. Since I’m saving quite a bit by not drinking, I allow myself to go once a month to get a new artwork on my nails. But the past few weeks, I had zero time to go, and my nails look pretty ‘boring’ and ‘naked’… But The Coucou Club and Lakwerk have come up with something for that: nail art that you can easily apply at home. This sticker set is my favorite.

Since this year, I officially belong to the Longines family, and I am extremely proud of that. My father has always had a weakness for beautiful watches, and I’ve picked up that virus a bit. Especially the craftsmanship of Swiss watchmakers, I wanted to experience live once, and that dream came true last week. Together with Lonneke Nooteboom and Kristina Bozilovic, we went to Saint-Imier to see the entire process in the Longines factory. The passion of all the employees and the craftsmanship made a huge impression on me. From now on, I will look at my beautiful, handcrafted watch with even more admiration.
