Your biggest annoyance on WhatsApp is solved for good

Hallelujah, my prayers have been answered. WhatsApp comes with a new privacy feature. Usually, I fall asleep at the word privacy feature, but this news makes me bounce. From now on, you decide whether you get thrown into a group chat or not.
No more group chats with people I don't want to know anything about, whom I don't want to talk to, and with whom I definitely don't want to plan a ‘grilling night’ (the topic of the chat). But that's a bit of the problem when you're in the group: you participate, there's no doubt about it. While I do sometimes have doubts. About very expensive baby shower gifts that need to be arranged for someone I know moderately well or about weekends away to the Ardennes with a group chat where I can't even survive an afternoon at Intratuin with two out of three.
Very difficult and complicated all of it. And I haven't even mentioned the 250 missed messages that you have to struggle through if you miss even half an episode of The Caste Mother watched.
The new privacy feature of WhatsApp, where you receive an invitation to the WhatsApp group and can accept it completely on your own. Or not. God, what an invention.
