With bikinis and swimsuits come beach vibes and blankets. And I don't know about you, but I still find it quite a hassle to be stuck in a long traffic jam heading towards the coast when the weather is nice and I crave sand between my toes . What a waste of time, if you ask me. The solution? A beach in your own city. A bit of extra research on city beaches seemed the least we could do, with a sunny party weekend ahead. From Amsterdam and Apeldoorn to Zwolle and Zoetermeer: these are the 10 best city beaches in the Netherlands. See you tomorrow at Hangar? Soap? Or maybe De Kade? Then I'll reserve a corona-proof bed at a distance.
