Very sweet news on Monday morning: Anouk is getting married. And even better for us, because she shared the entire proposal on Instagram. It's nice that they were together again, as Anouk shares on Instagram that it has been quite a while. She is of course in the risk group (suffers a lot from asthma) so she sees few people. Partner Dominique had been tested, hadn't seen anyone after that and yes, yes: the test was negative so the couple could finally be together again. And they did that at the Conservatorium Hotel. Including a proposal.

Wow, what a fun weekend I had :-) Dominique had himself tested so that we would get the results late in the evening and could be together again after a long time. (Also handy to do during the children's vacation, I can have them with me again ?) To be honest, I couldn't wait to make his biggest wish come true. Organizing everything and keeping it a secret was quite a challenge, but it worked out ? It was fantastic. I am incredibly grateful that you came into our lives @dominiqueschemmekes ❤️ and I can't wait to celebrate this day with everyone. Ps: Since we both want a wedding where we can cuddle and dance, we will have to be a little patient. But good things take time ? #coronafreewedding @conservatoriumhotel, thank you for the good care!

Apparently, Dominique has asked her about twenty times if she wants to marry him and time and again she said no. So yes, what do you do when you decide you do want to get married? Exactly, you just ask it yourself. I think it was an understatement to say that Dominique didn't see it coming... Aaah, this is just too cute?

I went a bit further to Insta-stalk these two and then I found out that I completely missed that Anouk's six kids are already quite old. Look at them, they really can't all fit in a double bed anymore. You really need the biggest kingsize for that. But this family snapshot is just too sweet.

And, that wedding, we can still wait a bit for that. They want a corona free wedding where you can just cuddle and dance with each other (and rightly so). So that will be a wait until... Hopefully next summer?
