Coffee brewing chatter: everything you need to know this morning

Well, have to... But in the context of light entertainment, we would like to update you. About Linda de Mol and her new series, about emojis, and about Maan's new album.

WhatsApp gets a lot of new emojis in 2020
And that makes life a lot more pleasant, doesn’t it? An Italian hand gesture, blueberries, olives, and a cheese fondue (!). I’m still a bit stuck on the food items, but we also get a Christmas woman and a new assortment of animals.

Linda de Mol is making a new series
Together with the director of Gooise Vrouwen, which naturally raises expectations. It’s a spin-off of an Italian series where a group of friends puts their phones on the table one evening. Every call, message, and DM must be openly shared, which of course leads to a lot of juicy, sad, and funny moments. The idea is already solid, I can’t wait.

Maan launches a new album and it is beautiful and vulnerable
The album is called ‘Onverstaanbaar’ and besides Maan herself, you also hear her ex-love (but still good friend) Tony Junior, and she releases a track with Sevn Alias. ‘She cries but she laughs’ can be found, just like ‘So this can also be’ and alongside these hits, there are ten potential Dutch-language blockbusters on Maan’s launch today.
