While we were napping, of course, everything happened on the other side of the world. Do you want to be able to chat at the coffee machine too? This is what you need to know.

The nominations for the BAFTA Awards 2020 are known

It’s the most wonderful time of the year: oh yes baby, award season is on. With the Golden Globes just behind us (yes, Brad and Jennie were once again the talk of the evening), the British Academy Film Awards are already at the door. You know, also known as the British Oscars. The list is long, but just to quickly highlight the biggest contenders, so you’re immediately up to speed. Alright, The Joker: the film managed to snag 11 nominations, so it’s almost certain that the film will win awards on February 2. Furthermore, they are lyrical in England about The Irishman and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood (both 10 nominations) and Sam Mendes’ 1917 (9 nominations). Leo DiCaprio is in the running for best actor in a leading role, just like Joaquin Phoenix, Adam Driver, Taron Egerton, and Jonathan Pryce. For best actress in a leading role, Scarlett Johansson, Renée Zellweger, Jessie Buckley, Charlize Theron, and Saoirse Ronan are in the running for the statue.

Oh yes, and Kaj Gorgels seems to be incredibly good under the sheets...

According to very objective lover in crime Jessie Jazz. The two literally bare themselves in a cover shoot for LINDA. Girls. ‘I can say that I think Kaj is really great,’ says Jessie. “He’s someone who takes his time. Kaj is not about the quick fling.’ Kaj confirms: ‘No, I enjoy it, you have to make it a thing. You do it in five minutes or you give yourself a swing. But you can also make something beautiful out of it. That you hang up the decorations. We both have that. But I don’t think you can say that one is better than the other. I’m very satisfied, write that down.’ A gus, such a lovesick puppy love still. Honestly, it’s disgustingly cute.

And today is also the day that we all love Chris Hemsworth a little more...

The Australian actor is going to donate 1 million dollars together with his family to help firefighters combat the fierce firestorm in Australia. On Instagram, he calls on his followers to follow his example. ‘Every penny counts so whatever you can muster up is greatly appreciated. It really does make a difference, so dig deep! Love ya.’ Chris. I do. Love. Ya.
