Disney is coming with a High School Musical reunion and it's insane
Together, together, togeeeeether everyone. Together, together, come on, let’s have some fun. While some people are completely ecstatic about that Friends reunion, I would like to nominate these plans from Disney. Fifteen years later presenting a High School Musical singalong? Man, it's everything we hoped for and more.
An now slightly older Gabriella, Troy, Sharpay, Ryan, Chad, and Taylor sing (and shake their hips) one more time together from their living room. There’s still a bit of mystery around Troy (Zac Efron), he seems to have some sort of special message for us. Director Kenny Ortega tells Deadline: ‘We couldn’t reach Zac, but when we finally did, he was immediately enthusiastic.’ BEAUTIFUL. ME TOO.
The HSM singalong event will be broadcast on Thursday, April 16 (yay, tomorrow) on the American channel ABC, but will then be available on YouTube. Oh, and not entirely unimportant: Ariana Grande, Christina Aguilera, Demi Lovato, and Michael Bublé will also be singing along.
