Harry and Meghan are not celebrating Christmas with the British royals

Christmas is for many people about coming together with family. But what do you do when there is an ocean between you and your family and there is also a significant pandemic going on in both countries? And oh yes, not entirely unimportant: currently, the atmosphere among that family is also not great. Then such a pandemic comes in handy because you can easily blame them.
No idea if it went that way, but in any case, it seems clear that Harry and Meghan will not be celebrating Christmas with the British royals. Now his brother might not be too sad about that, the tabloids are of course feasting on it again.
Instead of celebrating Christmas with their British family, they will spend the holidays with their good friends Katherine McPhee and her husband David Foster. The latter you might know as Yolanda Hadid's ex-husband.
Buuut, of course, Christmas is a time for family, just not Harry's. Meghan's mother, Doria, will be present. Their home in Santa Barbara is said to be the location, with Meghan as the hostess for the Christmas evenings. I have a faint suspicion that the Christmas spirit will be hard to find in the British newspapers. Meanwhile, Meghan is somewhat on her way to becoming persona non grata there, as Christmas is really sacred there. This will certainly have further consequences.
