Hilarious: you definitely want to see this debate

There’s a small chance you caught the entire debate between Trump and Biden last Tuesday. Completely understandable, really. It was mainly an hour and a half of two elderly old men going at each other. And then a middleman, Chris Wallace, who somewhat tried to keep the peace (spoiler: he didn’t succeed). Trump managed to prevent Biden from finishing a single sentence and shut down when asked to speak out against white supremacy.

I think the debate is perfectly described as a complete shitshow. And what’s the best thing to do with such a shitshow? Exactly, just see the humor in it. And leave that to Saturday Night Live. They are already known for their brilliant sketches. Alec Baldwin is once again cast as President Trump, who looks more like Trump than Trump himself. And — how fun — actor Jim Carrey has returned to SNL as Biden for the occasion. The last time he was seen here was in the ’90s.

Bizarre, because he really looks so much like Biden. Chris Wallace (played by Beck Bennett) is of course also part of it, who beforehand states that he thinks he’s going to do ‘a really, REALLY good job’ tonight (spoiler: he doesn’t).

Of course, Trump’s coronavirus infection comes up, which he first calls a hoax and then declares ‘and that statement will NOT come back to haunt me later this week.’

Just take a look. They are all three so spot on that I just choose to believe this was the real debate. As they say themselves: ‘It’s funny, as long as you don’t live in America.’
