Hollywood insiders say: these rumors are really true

People, if you're looking for a new addiction (always welcome in this new lockdown, right?): Reddit. But really. There are countless subreddits, so there’s definitely something for you. As a true crime enthusiast, I’m a big fan of the subreddit Unresolved Mysteries, but AITA (Am I The Asshole) and TIFU (Today I Fucked Up) are also really enjoyable. Most of the time I waste on AskReddit, where — the name says it all — you can ask anything. It doesn’t matter what the topic is. This way you learn something new. For example, ask people who work in Hollywood: what rumors are actually true? What are the ‘open secrets’ in Hollywood? Just a side note: this topic is three years old, so some of the ‘open secrets’ have already come out. My conspiracy theory mind immediately believes the rest too, you get that…

The Hollywood gossip that is supposedly true

1. John Travolta is into men and that’s something that’s not even a secret in Hollywood anymore (juicy: his pickup technique is said to be to hang around in gyms that are open 24 hours and approach men there).

2. Tom Cruise likewise: the marriage between Katie Holmes and him is said to be a contractual relationship, to benefit both their images.

3. Dan Schneider is the Harvey Weinstein of Nickelodeon, where he is the boss — this has partly come out, by the way.

4. Chris Evans (a.k.a. Captain America) quite enjoys a line of coke here and there.

5. Many female celebrities supplement their income as ‘yacht girls’, or high escort ladies. Lindsay Lohan for example (that’s why she moved to the Gulf States), but Bella Hadid and Hailey Baldwin are also said to have done this.

6. Will Smith is also said to be into men and he is said to be in an open relationship/marriage with Jada Pinkett Smith. This would explain why she had an affair with a friend of their son Jaden.

7. Both are also said to be members of the Church of Scientology, but when this came out they received so much criticism that they denied it.

8. Scientology is big in Hollywood and once you get involved, you can’t get out. The wife of leader David Miscavige, Shelly Miscavige, has not been seen in public since 2007. Several people have reported her missing, but the police want to do nothing. Scientology has a lot of power.

9. Ashley Benson is into women. This is also not really a secret anymore, after her relationship with Cara Delevingne.

10. Brad Pitt is said to smell really bad. HAHA. I’ve seriously read this quite often, that the man has an odor that you wouldn’t be happy about.

11. So many. Fake. Relationships. They are often formalized with a contract, all for publicity or as a ‘beard’ (to hide that one of the two, or both, are not heterosexual). Examples: Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson, Taylor Swift and Harry Styles, Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, and Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes.

12. Leonardo DiCaprio is said to be into men.

13. And also enjoys a line.

14. What they agree on are the three celebrities who have absolutely nothing wrong with them: Tom Hanks, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and Keanu Reeves.

Well, what is actually true we will never know for sure. But it is juicy, right? All those fake relationships: apparently many actors are in the closet. Did we learn anything from it? Well, not that, but at least we have something to talk about again.
