Is there a Keeping Up With The Beckhams?

You probably know the saying ‘When one door closes, God opens a window somewhere’. I don't really know how that goes (I know it from The Sound Of Music), but I find it quite applicable now. Because yes, the door that is called Keeping Up With The Kardashians is really closing after thirteen years. Next year is the last broadcast and then it's really over with the brainless TV that is quite enjoyable to watch.
It seems that we are getting something just as good in return. Anyway, there are already quite a few rumors that streaming services like Netflix and AppleTV would go after the Kardashians, because honestly: we would still keep watching. There's a good chance that momager Kris asked for too much money for her and her family, because Netflix seems to have dropped out. And rightly so: they have actually hooked another family.
And that is none other than the Beckhams. Whuuuut? Yes, they have signed a contract with Netflix and will therefore be seen. Netflix is putting down 16 million pounds for it, so expectations are high. Royal couple Harry and Meghan also signed a deal with the streaming service not long ago and even then we hoped for a reality series, but that doesn't seem to be happening. The Queen would probably have a heart attack from it, I guess, and you certainly don't want that on your conscience.
The Beckhams will indeed be seen in reality form on Netflix. How cool is that? I'm really curious about how they are together. I had a bit of the idea that they mainly stayed together for PR and that David mainly got his kicks outside the door, but maybe I'm just too much into all the Hollywood gossip and they are just two lovely homebodies.
We'll see it anyway, because a documentary is planned that will mainly be about David. But wife Victoria and their kids will also have a prominent role in it. What can we expect from it all? Well, footage from his time at Real Madrid and Manchester United (so maybe you'll even get the man to watch it) and family footage from vacations, holidays, birthdays, and so on...
Hopefully, this will whet our appetite for more and Keeping Up With The Beckhams will just become a thing. I wouldn't change anything about that name. The Kardashians are over. They had their chance, and they wanted to stop themselves anyway? Bring on the Beckhams.
