Just kidding: Kardashians are not stopping after all

Just kidding. I actually saw this coming a bit. With much fanfare, the Kardashians announced they were stopping their reality series. They were done with it, it has been nice, it has lasted long enough, that kind of thing.

It turns out — shocking — that the rumors are probably true: they simply became too expensive for the network E!. That network seems to be on the brink of bankruptcy and with the departure of their only ratings powerhouse, things are not looking good at all…

Not that the Kardashians are sad about it, though. Far from it. Kris Jenner has signed a gigantic deal with Hulu. You know, another American network. Now, I strongly doubt they will do anything behind the scenes there, so we can assume that the Kardashians are not stopping at all.

It was certainly a good publicity stunt, that grand announcement of their reality end. It was already known that the networks were very eager to sign them, but that they would sign so quickly and thus backtrack from their yet-to-begin reality retirement… Oh well, never a dull moment with the Kardashians.
